ONE's 14,000-TEU Apus' containers collapse sailing to Long Beach

THE 14,000-TEU Ocean Network Express (ONE) Apus suffered a collapse of containers in severe weather while sailing to the Port of Long Beach, reports Colchester’s Seatrade Maritime News.
The container line said investigations are still being made into the incident.

“The vessel schedule is expected to be delayed, and her schedule recovery plan is currently underway, which will be advised subsequently,” said ONE.

The accident comes as the second incident to affect ONE recently. The 14,052 TEU ONE Aquila suffered a loss of containers on October 30 to severe weather while sailing into Long Beach.
